Statement

Daniel Bruttig is an artist working across painting, sculpture, and mixed media.
Rather than adhering to a single style, the work develops through trial, error, and constant editing, with one piece directly informing the next as material experimentation drives conceptual themes.

Objects are built through direct physical intervention: pouring, smothering, submerging, wrapping, stacking, and layering materials like resin, thermoplastic adhesive, wax, found objects, wood, and textiles into dense, physical forms.
